The Process of

E-waste Recycling

Collection

We collect devices from households and businesses, including through drop-off centres, curbside pickups, or specialised e-waste recycling events. Proper collection ensures that electronic devices are diverted from landfills and directed towards recycling facilities.

Sorting

E-waste is sorted based on factors such as type, condition and material composition, then disassembled by trained technicians to separate reusable components from hazardous materials. Components like circuit boards, cables, metals and plastics are separated for further processing.

Processing

The separated components processing techniques, including shredding, crushing or grinding to break them down into smaller pieces. Mechanical separation, magnetic separation and chemical treatments are also employed to recover gold, silver, copper and palladium, as well as other reusable materials.

Refinement and reuse

Metals are melted down and purified, while plastics may be melted and molded into new shapes. Some components may be repurposed for resale, extending their lifespan and reducing the demand for new electronic products.
