Upgrade works to 4G scrap metal recycling facilities

We’re excited to share the latest developments including upgrade works to 4G scrap metal recycling facilities, which highlight our dedication to innovation and operational excellence. The team at 4G Metals is committed to leading the way in scrap metal recycling and resource recovery, ensuring we provide efficient and sustainable solutions for our customers.

Artarmon resurfaces yard and installs new weighbridge

At Artarmon, we’ve poured nearly 2000m² of concrete to completely cover the yard, creating a modern and efficient workspace. The installation of a new weighbridge this week will make our 4G Artarmon facility the only scrap yard less than 10km from Sydney CBD with this feature. It’s also the only scrap yard servicing the North Shore, enhancing convenience and accessibility for our customers in this region. These upgrades position our Artarmon yard as a standout facility for scrap metal recycling in Sydney.

Upgraded machinery at Seven Hills

We continue to make significant progress with our Seven Hills yard redevelopments. Upgraded machinery and plant equipment are being integrated into the site, along with the addition of a high wall fence for enhanced operational security and efficiency. These improvements ensure that 4G Metals remains at the forefront of the industry, providing the highest quality services to customers across the area.

Kemps Creek sees significant growth

Over at Kemps Creek, our efforts have led to remarkable growth, with significant increases in volume recorded throughout November. In addition, we’ve achieved a part exemption on the NSW Waste Levy through our collaboration with Wanless Waste Management, delivering substantial savings over the next 12 months. This exemption not only underscores our commitment to cost-effective waste management solutions but also reflects our focus on working smarter to benefit both our customers and the environment.

New partnerships with industry leaders

Our advancements aren’t just limited to our facilities. We’re proud to have formed new partnerships with industry leaders, including CPB Contractors on the Metro West Tunnel Project from St Marys to Badgerys Creek Airport, BlueScope Steel, Commonwealth Steel Mill in Newcastle, and Newmont, the world’s largest gold mining company. These collaborations demonstrate the trust that leading organisations place in 4G Metals to deliver reliable, sustainable solutions for their scrap metal and resource recovery needs.

Thanks to these upgrade works to 4G scrap metal recycling facilities and future developments, 4G Metals continues to set new standards in the scrap metal recycling and resource recovery sector. We look forward to building on this momentum and delivering even greater value to our customers and the communities we serve.
